Ingredients 8 cups puffed wheat cereal 1/2 cup walnut pieces 1/2 cup sliced almonds 1/2 cup dry roasted peanuts 1/2 cup butter 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 1/4 cup light corn syrup 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. baking soda 1/2 tsp. vanilla Combine first four ingredients in large bowl. Melt butter in medium saucepan. Stir in brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt. Bring mixture to a boil stirring constantly. Boil over medium heat 5 minutes without stirring. Remove from heat stir in soda and vanilla. Gradually pour hot syrup over cereal mixture stirring well. Spoon mixture into a 15x10x1 jelly roll pan. Bake at 300 for 15 minutes; stir well and bake an additional 15 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Break into pieces and store in airtight container. Makes about 10 cups.
